USA (bbabo.net), - The head of the Indo-Pacific Command of the US Armed Forces, Admiral John Aquilino, accused China of intensifying aggressive actions in the Asia-Pacific region. He stated this during his speech to reporters in Tokyo, TASS reports citing Bloomberg.

“We all need to understand that everything is happening very quickly. [We are talking about] building up military power despite the poor economy, increasingly saying that everything within the 10-dash line [zone in the South China Sea] is China's sovereign territory, as well as measures coercion,” the agency quotes the admiral as saying.

According to him, China's actions in the South China Sea are "dangerous and destabilizing." China, he said, is implementing an “increasingly aggressive plan of coercion and pressure” in the situation around Taiwan.

As an official representative of the US State Department previously reported, the issue of Taiwan will be one of the main issues on the agenda of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to China these days.
