Americans flew to kill Russian bears - they were arrested in Kamchatka

USA (bbabo.net), - Two Americans and one Russian citizen were arrested in Kamchatka. According to court documents, they were planning to hunt brown bears. Primorsky media reported this today, April 24.

The offenders - two citizens of the United States of America and a citizen of the Russian Federation - were taken to the premises of the Elizovsky District Court. The case was heard via video link by the magistrate of the Tigilsky district of the Kamchatka Territory.

The article under which the accused were tried is 20.10 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses: illegal transfer and use of firearms and ammunition. According to the case materials, two US citizens arrived in the Kamchatka Territory for a collective hunt for a brown bear, and a Russian citizen volunteered to resolve all organizational issues and handed over firearms to the Americans.

The offenders were sentenced to administrative arrest.
