Russia (bbabo.net), - The authorities of the Republic of Buryatia have lifted the regional emergency regime, which was introduced on December 23 after the accident at the TPP-1 in Ulan-Ude, the headquarters said.

"At a meeting of the government commission of the Republic of Buryatia on the prevention and elimination of emergencies and ensuring fire safety, it was decided to transfer the emergency mode of the regional level of response due to a fire at TPP-1 to the emergency mode of municipal significance in connection with the stabilization of the situation," the headquarters said in a statement.

Let us remind you that on the night of December 23 at TPP No. 1 of PJSC "TGC No. 14" there was a short circuit in the power wires with a fire in the cable compartment supplying the control panel. Because of the fire, four heating boilers and two turbine generators were turned off. At this time, the air temperature in the city was minus 30 degrees. About 800 houses were transferred to a reduced heat supply regime.

73 emergency teams work in Ulan-Ude. On Saturday morning, December 25, five boilers are in operation at CHPP-1. The last one was hooked up at night. Another boiler is scheduled to start up on Sunday night.

According to the headquarters, there are no defrosted objects in the city. On the eve, hot water supply returned to 39 out of 754 houses. On Saturday afternoon it is planned to connect another 414 houses, on Sunday - 301 houses.
