The Russian Foreign Ministry reacted to Blinken's words about the Russian military in Kazakhstan

The Russian Foreign Ministry reacted to the statement of the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who, referring to history, said that the Russians, once in someone else's house, are in no hurry to leave it. The answer was published on the ministry's Telegram channel.

“If Anthony Blinken is so fond of history lessons, then let him mean the following: when Americans are in your house, it can be difficult to stay alive, not to be robbed or raped,” the message says.

Diplomats called the statements of the head of the US State Department boorish, noting that such jokes are inappropriate when it comes to tragic events. The Foreign Ministry stressed that the sending of the Russian military to Kazakhstan is "an absolutely legitimate response of the CSTO to the call of the leadership of Kazakhstan to provide assistance in ensuring security."

Earlier, Blinken said that Russia is striving to change the principles on which the current world order is built.
