Analysts of the VimpelCom operator (Beeline brand) published interesting statistics for Valentine's Day, as well as the upcoming "gender" holidays on February 23 and March 8.

In the study, analysts answered the question: “What smartphones do men and women choose in Russia?”. It turned out that Samsung is the leader among brands in terms of the number of smartphones registered in the Beeline network. Devices of this brand are used by 25.4% of subscribers, the second place belongs to Xiaomi (15%), and on the third line is Apple 10.7%.

Apple smartphones are more often used by women under 25, and the iPhone 11 is the most popular gadget among all users in Russia, regardless of gender. Push-button telephones were not taken into account in the statistics.

Among men, Samsung Galaxy A51 is in second place, Samsung Galaxy A10 is third, Honor 7A is in fourth place, and Xiaomi Redmi 9A is in fifth position. Women prefer Redmi 9A in second place, Samsung Galaxy A51 in third place, Redmi 9C NFC in fourth place, and Samsung Galaxy A10 in fifth place.

Among women over 65, the Redmi 9A is the most common, while the iPhone 11 only ranks second. For women under 25, the Top 5 includes three Apple products at once - in addition to the leader of the iPhone 11, the third place is the iPhone 7, the fifth is the iPhone XR. The second and fourth places are Samsung Galaxy A51 and Xiaomi Redmi 9A, respectively.

In the central part of Russia and in the east of the country, Xiaomi Redmi 9A is preferred. In the south and northwest, the leader is the iPhone 11. In Kurgan, Izhevsk, Blagoveshchensk and some other cities of Russia, Apple smartphones did not enter the Top 5 popular devices at all. In Surgut and several other cities, the five most popular mobile devices among the population are represented only by Samsung smartphones.
