Microsoft has not forgotten about Windows 10 - the OS received an update with new features

Following yesterday's big update to Windows 11, Microsoft has introduced an update for the older operating system - Windows 10.

The Windows 10 update, numbered KB5010415, is not as massive and impressive as the Windows 11 update, but it also brings not only fixes for remaining problems and errors, but also a couple of new features.

For example, users can now transfer cookies between Internet Explorer's Microsoft Edge mode and Microsoft Edge. This can be handy for web developers or those using online services that still work with Internet Explorer.

Microsoft has also added the ability to mount and remove NVMe storage without shutting down the computer (called hot swapping). Again, this is a feature that will probably not impress most casual users, but corporate and power users may find it very useful.

The optional Windows 10 update KB5010415 is distributed through Windows Update (Windows Update). Fixes from it will also be included in the mandatory Windows 10 updates in March or April 2022.
