Oppo Watch Free smartwatch is coming to Europe

Back in September 2021, Oppo launched the Oppo Watch Free in the Chinese market. Now the wearable device has become available to European buyers.

The watch is equipped with a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 280 x 456 pixels, with DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a density of 326 pixels per inch. The watch features leather-textured silicone straps that Oppo claims are breathable and comfortable to sleep on.

The device can track over 100 sports modes, including cricket, archery, skiing, volleyball, kayaking and badminton. However, only four sports can be automatically tracked: running, walking, rowing (machine) and elliptical trainers.

The Oppo Watch Free is also equipped with an SpO2 sensor to monitor blood oxygen levels and a heart rate sensor that will alert users when the heart rate is too high or too low. There's also sleep tracking, snoring detection, music playback controls and notifications, as well as call alerts.

The device is equipped with a 230 mAh battery, which is enough for 14 days of use. It also supports fast charging: Oppo claims a quick 5-minute charge will last you all day. The watch is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 module and is compatible with Android 6.0, iOS 10.0 and later versions of these operating systems.

The Oppo Watch Free will retail for €99 in Europe and £89 in the UK from March 24th.
