Samsung IT School launched a video podcast for schoolchildren

The Samsung IT School educational project will release a series of video podcasts with project graduates from different years. It will be released on the Samsung IT School YouTube channel in the Podcast section.

The first issue of "How a girl enters IT" is dedicated to the graduates of the project. Its heroines are a mobile application developer, a graduate of the Samsung IT School program and a research engineer at the Russian Samsung Research Center.

Three graduates of the Samsung IT School from Moscow, who already work by profession in the largest technology companies in Russia, became the heroes of another issue “Become a developer in a top IT company while studying at a university”.

The next issues will be devoted to the winners of international competitions for young developers and issues of preparation for entering the "IT School".

“Over the years of work of the Samsung IT School educational project in Russia, more than 4,000 students have become its graduates. Many of them develop their own startups and work in leading IT companies. We hope that the success stories of these young guys will inspire today's schoolchildren to get a prestigious and exciting profession,” says Sergey Pevnev, Corporate Projects Director at Samsung Electronics CIS Headquarters.

"IT School Samsung" is aimed at schoolchildren in grades 9-10 who are fond of IT technologies and have a solid knowledge of the school course of computer science and mathematics. They study the development of mobile applications in the Java programming language for the Android platform. More than 1,500 high school students receive free education every year. The course is designed for one academic year (132 academic hours).
