“Now, in accordance with the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia dated February 4, 2022 No. 4, a positive express test result is taken into account when making a diagnosis of coronavirus infection without confirmation by a PCR test,” the publication on the stopcoronavirus.rf website says.

In this regard, the number of rapid tests provided to medical organizations in all regions of Russia is increasing.

As the Moscow operational headquarters clarifies in the Telegram channel, positive results of rapid tests in polyclinics will be taken into account in the daily statistics of cases.

Earlier it was reported that Gosuslugi will start uploading data from rapid tests for coronavirus.

According to the latest data, 197,076 cases of infection were detected in Russia per day, 106,092 people recovered, 701 patients died.
