Russia - In Norilsk, a teenager was detained for false mining of schools in Volgograd

Russia (bbabo.net), - A 14-year-old teenager was detained in Norilsk for spreading false information about the mining of schools and other social facilities in Volgograd. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Investigative Committee of the RF Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia.

According to investigators, the detainee promised his 16-year-old acquaintance, whom he met on the Internet, to send several false messages about an impending terrorist attack in one of the educational institutions of Volgograd in order to destabilize the work of the authorities. He estimated his services at 10,000 rubles. In January, the plan was implemented: a 14-year-old resident of Norilsk sent three such e-mails and received money.

A criminal case was initiated against the teenager under part 3 of article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "knowingly false report of an act of terrorism." House arrest was chosen as a preventive measure. It is also reported that a 16-year-old customer from Volgograd was also detained.

A few days earlier, the FSB of the Russian Federation detained 14 people who warned about the mining of schools, hospitals and other social institutions. All of them were members of online communities that sent deliberately false calls to the police.
