The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill on the introduction of administrative fines for the emission of production and consumption waste from vehicles outside special landfills, TASS reports.

It is planned to calculate violators, including with the help of automatic cameras, which are located in the places most likely to commit such violations, as is the case with the use of cameras for fixing traffic violations, the authors of the bill said. It is also expected to use camera traps that are automatically triggered when moving near the installation sites, which can be used in low light conditions and at night.

The fine for ordinary drivers should be from 10 thousand to 15 thousand rubles, for individual entrepreneurs - from 20 thousand to 30 thousand rubles, for legal entities - from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles. If the offense was recorded by an automatic camera, then the fine for the owner of the vehicle will be 10 thousand rubles.

In case of repeated violation during the year, fines increase for citizens up to 20-30 thousand rubles, for individual entrepreneurs - up to 40-60 thousand rubles, for legal entities - up to 60-100 thousand rubles. For individual entrepreneurs and legal entities, the possibility of confiscation of transport is provided. If the violation was caught on camera, then the owner of the car will have to pay 20 thousand rubles.

Disposal of waste outside special landfills using trucks, tractors and trailers will be punished even more severely: for citizens, the fine will be up to 50 thousand rubles, for individual entrepreneurs - up to 80 thousand rubles, for legal entities - up to 120 thousand rubles. A violation recorded on camera will result in a fine of up to 100,000 rubles. The new provisions of the Code of Administrative Offenses will also apply to cases of dumping garbage from cars in forests.

Earlier, the State Duma proposed to limit the movement of old cars near hospitals and kindergartens.
