Americans Nick Baumgartner and Lindsey Jacobellis won the mixed snowboard cross team event at the Beijing Olympics.
Silver medals were won by Omar Vizintin and Michela Moioli from Italy, bronze by Canadians Eliot Grondin and Marieta O'Dine.
Russian snowboarders Kristina Paul and Daniil Donskoy placed eighth, finishing last in the small final.
Two more snowboarders were injured at the Olympics. Video Olympics 2022 Jacobellis and O'Dine previously won gold and bronze in the women's board cross, Grondin and Vizintin won silver and bronze in the men's.
The last sets of awards for snowboarders in Beijing will be played on February 14-15 in the men's and women's big air.
