None of the representatives of the Russian national hockey team expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that representatives of other sports would fly to Beijing on the same flight with the team, Alexander Bedarev, press officer of the Russian national team, told RBC Sport.

“This is incorrect information. Nobody expressed dissatisfaction. The flight was originally scheduled for 9 p.m.," Bedarev said.

According to him, from the Russian national hockey team there will be a little more than 50 people on board, including working staff and coaches. Bedarev specified that other Russian athletes would also be on board, in total more than 70 people would fly on this flight.

Kovalchuk assessed living conditions at the Beijing Olympics board. According to the publication, other athletes, including Nordics, snowboarders, alpine skiers, skaters, skiers and hockey players, were warned about the departure two hours earlier.
