"The girl was killed." Russia's reaction to the figure skater's fourth place at the Olympics after the doping scandal

Recall that Valieva became a participant in a doping scandal during the Olympics. Her test dated December 25, 2021 tested positive for the banned drug trimetazidine. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) sought the removal of the figure skater, but the Court of Arbitration for Sport allowed the Russian woman to participate in the Games.

In the individual figure skater tournament, Valieva failed to keep the lead after the short program and took fourth place.
